Jean began her career in the northeast after graduating from Wilfred Academy in 1981.  She spent 24 years gaining valuable experience before bringing her talent to us fortunate souls here in Texas.  After 8 years in League City, Texas (outside of Houston) she and her family made their way here to the Austin area.  She joined Legends Salon on its opening day (August 1, 2007) and has proven to be a wonderful addition to our staff!

Jean and her husband Eugene have two children: Andrew (23) and Allyson (20).  Outside of work here at the salon, Jean enjoys lots of social activities.  She is a member of the Avery Ranch Social Committee, and she is also on a Mardi Gras krewe out of Galveston/Houston.  Jean also loves to scrapbook, decorate, stamp and exercise.  She really should’ve been born with 8 hands!!

She has many favorite products she likes to share with her clients and they include:  Aquage Sea Extend Color Protect Shampoo and Conditioner, Framesi BY Glaze, CHI Silk Infusion and 44 Iron Guard, as well as It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-in.  Feel free to ask Jean if you have any hair care product questions.

Framesi is an Italian color line that Jean has used for the past 12 years.  This particular line is an advanced one which allows Jean to custom-create any shade of color her clients desire.  She also uses Redken Shades for semi-permanent enhancement.
